Short version: some links on this site earn me a commission if you buy through them. It costs you nothing extra. I don't change my opinion based on the commission. If a tool I'm paid to recommend is bad, I say so or just don't write about it.

What's an affiliate link?

When you click certain links on this site and end up buying a tool (Jasper, Copy.ai, Beehiiv, Descript, ElevenLabs, etc.), the company pays me a small percentage. The price you pay is the same as if you'd gone directly. The commission comes out of their margin, not yours.

Which programs am I in?

If a tool appears on this site and isn't in the list above, I get nothing from recommending it. CapCut, ChatGPT, Claude, and most free tools fall into this bucket.

Rules I follow before recommending anything

  1. I have to use it on at least one real client project, not a demo.
  2. I stay on the free tier first; I only pay if I actually need to.
  3. I compare it to whatever I was using before — note what's better and what's worse.
  4. If the answer is "no improvement," I drop it and don't write about it.
  5. Affiliate link or no affiliate link — that doesn't change the verdict.

Canadian compliance (CASL)

Email signups on this site use double opt-in — you confirm via a link in your inbox before you're added to any list. We do this because the operator of this site is based in British Columbia, Canada, and CASL requires it. If you ever want off the list, every email has a one-click unsubscribe.
