Privacy Policy
Plain English: I collect your email if you give it to me. I use Google Analytics to see which pages get traffic. That's basically it. I don't sell anything to anyone.
What I collect
- Email address — only if you sign up for the newsletter or download a lead magnet. Stored in Beehiiv (newsletter platform).
- Anonymous traffic data — pages visited, browser type, country, referrer. Collected via Google Analytics 4. No personally identifiable info.
- Affiliate click data — when you click an affiliate link, the destination platform (e.g. Beehiiv, Jasper) sets a tracking cookie. That's how I get paid. I see aggregate clicks, not who clicked.
What I don't do
- I don't sell your email or data to anyone, ever.
- I don't run retargeting ads against you.
- I don't use Facebook Pixel or any tracking that follows you across the web.
- I don't email you outside the cadence you signed up for.
Email signup (CASL / GDPR)
Newsletter signups use double opt-in — you'll get a confirmation email and have to click the link to subscribe. This is required under Canadian (CASL) and EU (GDPR) law, and it's also just better — you don't get added to a list you didn't ask for.
Every email has an unsubscribe link. One click and you're out, no questions asked.
Cookies
This site uses two kinds of cookies:
- Analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4) — anonymous, used to count visits.
- Affiliate referral cookies — set by the destination tool (Beehiiv, Jasper, etc.) when you click an affiliate link, so they can attribute the sale to me. Cookie windows vary by program (typically 30–60 days).
You can disable cookies in your browser. The site will still work; analytics will just stop counting your visit.
Your rights
If you've signed up for the newsletter, you can request what data I have on you, ask me to delete it, or export it. Email me through the about page and I'll handle it within 30 days.
